HP has launched two new printer series in India meant for enterprise and micro and small business respectively – the HP Pagewide Enterprise Color and Officejet Pro 8000. Both the series see refinement in the security, connectivity, basic printing engine and the user interface.
The Pagewide printers have also assumed a leaner, more compact size and have part of the portfolio for A3 printing to expand to the copier market. They will be available through HP channel partners and at select retail stores.
An increase in the number of managed devices, designed for contractual channel partners and managed print services arrangements, will enable HP channel partners to provide low cost of operation with HP’s highest capacity supplies, a three-year print head warranty, higher speeds and recommended monthly print volume (RMPV) on select models, as well as integration with HP JetAdvantage Management and third-party tools.
“As millennials enter the workforce and start up their own businesses, they are redefining workstyles and workspaces. Businesses – both large and small – are also seeking the right balance between maximizing work space and providing the right environment to stimulate creativity,” said Parikshet Singh Tomar, Country Category Leader, Printing Systems, HP Inc. India.
Officejet Pro 8000 series offers HP Print Forward Design that is compact, and handles pages like an enterprise MFP with inbuilt trays, face down page out and integrated output tray to keep the printed stack inside the printer.
The Officejet Pro 8000 series printers – 8710/8720/8730/8740 All-in-One printers and 8210 printer deliver affordable, professional color and performance in a compact package for small businesses.
