ACME bags green technology solution deal with PGCIL

ACME the leader in development of green technology solution in India has bagged a contract worth Rs 11.50 crores from the Power Grid Corporation India Limited (PGCIL). As per the agreement ACME will be looking after the planning, designing, engineering and manufacturing and supplying of telecom Passive Infrastructure to PGCIL.

The company will also deliver other energy requirements including ACME’s path-breaking and innovative power interface units and solar photo voltaic power supply systems. Moreover, the project needs to be completed within one year after the date of awarding the contract.

Speaking about this new opportunity, Samir Sharan, Chief Executive Office – ACME said, “We thank PGCIL for giving us the opportunity to contribute to the nation’s growth through implementing green technologies in telecom sector and cutting down the carbon footprint. This contract is a testimony to the prowess of ACME Group and further strengthens our position as the largest player in providing green energy solutions.  We believe that this model telecom infra will help PGCIL to manage their infrastructure optimally.”
