Adobe India Appoints Shanmugh Natarajan As Executive Director

Adobe has appointed Shanmugh Natarajan as its executive director for India operations. Natarajan has joined Adobe in 2008 and now will take up this new leadership role in addition to his on-going responsibility as VP, Engineering, Digital Media.

Natarajan has made significant contributions to the development of Adobe’s operations in India. He has been influential in chief product development of award winning products like Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash and Lightroom.

Shantanu Narayen, president and CEO, Adobe said, “Shanmugh Natarajan has made significant contributions to the growth of Adobe’s operations in India. His expertise and successful track record are foundational to the kind of leadership and vision that will enable Adobe to continue to expand this important center of innovation.”

Natarajan on his appointment commented, “It is my privilege to take on the role of executive director for Adobe India and lead an operation which is home to absolutely top-tier global talent. As far as his qualification is concerned, he graduated from College of Engineering, Guindy in Bachelors in Electronics and Communication. He also holds a Masters in Computer Engineering from University of Texas, Austin.
