Agilent Secures Multiple 2020 Scientists’ Choice Awards

Agilent Technologies has bagged two 2020 Scientists’ Choice Awards at the SelectScience Virtual Analytical Summit 2021: Best New Spectroscopy Product of 2020 and Analytical Science Webinar of the Year.

Agilent The Scientists’ Choice Awards recognize the world’s most innovative and effective analytical science technologies.

“We are honored that our customers selected the 6470 LC/TQ as Best New Spectroscopy Product of 2020,” said Sudharshana Seshadri, Vice President and General Manager of Agilent’s Mass Spectrometry Division. “This award acknowledges the confidence that our customers have in our instruments to deliver robust, reliable, and high-quality results.”

As Seshadri explained, “Great product innovation and unique content generation is key to supporting our customers with their challenges by providing trusted answers.”

The Best New Spectroscopy Product of 2020 is the Agilent 6470B Triple Quadrupole LC/MS, a system that delivers robust performance and high versatility for commercial, life science research, and regulatory applications.

The Analytical Science Webinar of the Year titled “Oh No! Not Another Boring Webinar on Column Lifetime” presented by Agilent HPLC columns product manager Andreas Borowiak is intended as a masterclass in how to achieve the maximum column lifetime and performance from LC columns.

With the strong growth of the LC and LC/MS market in recent years, the number of LC users has increased.

Not only do they need innovative products, but they also require instruction based on high-quality content to help train inexperienced LC users in the analytical instrument space.

A Bronze Seal of Quality Award—given in late 2020 to the Agilent 1290 Infinity II LC System—was also recognized alongside the 2020 Scientist’s Choice Award winners in the SelectScience ceremony.

Additionally, the recently introduced Agilent 1290 Infinity II Bio-LC system is featured on the nomination list for the SelectScience Best New Drug Discovery Product in the 2021 Scientists’ Choice Awards which is now open for voting.
