Could you give us a brief overview on SunTec and your products?

We are looking to hire engineering talent PAN India. The role we’re hiring for includes product engineering and product support teams. We have a particular focus on SaaS talent given we’re growing our SaaS capabilities. As we transition into a digital-first world, the landscape calls for products that have quicker time to market and are agile and innovative. This requires hiring top notch talent from leading engineering colleges (freshers) as well as laterals with domain knowledge and expertise and essentially hire talent who resonate with our vision and culture of putting our customers at the heart of everything we do.

What will be the key roles that would be a part of the hiring process?

Some of the key roles as part of this drive include:
– SaaS Architects
– Change Enablers
– Implementation Engineers
– Developers
– Solution Analysts
Our hiring process focuses on freshers and lateral hires who can drive, change and bring innovation to the table.

How is SunTec looking at attracting the right talent for this hiring drive?

This hiring drive is a pan India initiative that looks at talent across the country and aims to recruit freshers from reputed colleges and engineering schools. We also host codathons and other such events to identify the right talent and engage with our prospects better.

What was the impact of the pandemic on SunTec’s business? What were your plans to cope up with these situations?

The pandemic led to banks and other organizations accelerating their digitization efforts. This was an opportunity for us to help enterprises digitally transform and we did just that, so our business continued to soar during this time.

Despite the pandemic and lockdown, we had a firm focus on quality while keeping in mind employee wellbeing. Our Business Continuity Planning team played a pivotal role during this time and did a great job in the transition to WFH.

Our employees too have stayed true to our organizational culture. Individuals from across departments and geographies ensured continued operations and meeting customer commitments even through virtual modes. What are your marketing strategies for the coming years?

We embarked on a brand campaign that uniquely used attributes we associate with as a product company and tied them back to animal traits. The aim was to have a campaign that stands differentiated while driving home the messages of personalization, agility, expertise, partnership, and vision. This campaign was used for our employer branding efforts too. In the coming months, our marketing efforts will continue to focus on building and enhancing our employer brand to attract and retain high quality talent.
