A significant rise is witnessed in the sales of the Apple iPad mini in the Indian market. In order to make the sales improve further the Cupertino based giant is apparently tying up with various Indian enterprises to adopt its technology. Apple has showed 45% growth of iPad in the last quarter in India. Moreover, the company is presently working with various solution providers to bundle enterprise apps. Reportedly, the firm has tied up with a Pune based healthcare application company named ‘Praxify’ to sell its iPads to doctors and hospitals in India.
Ram Sahasranam the director of Praxify has said that, this association with Apple will help the company and its products could be made available to a lot of customers. And presently a Bangalore based Manipal Hospitals is among the hospitals using the solution. The hospital believes that the doctors faced a lot of problem in using keyboards on the other hand iPad Mini will help them to carry out their duties comfortably. As per the sources, MIOT Hospitals of Chennai have recently purchased 1,200 iPads to use Praxify’s solution. Apart from the healthcare sector, Apple is also focusing on the banking sector. HDFC bank has bought 2,000 tablets out of which 1,000 were iPads.
Apart from the iPad the tech giant is also working towards increasing the sales of iPhones and Macs in the Indian market.
