Array Networks Forays into Defence Sector, Aims To Deliver Integrated, Mission-Critical Applications
Array Networks, a global leader in application delivery networking has announced its foray into Defence Sector. The company has taken a defence order worth $250,000 for WAN Optimization and Access Gateways (SSL VPN) solutions.
Array Networks have created a focused team to work closely and thoroughly with partners and technical establishments specializing in the defence sector to develop new strategies, to protect mission critical applications, enabling VSAT deployments and improve the network performance in remote locations.
Defence and military forces increasingly require a reliable and secure communication infrastructure for transmitting critical applications and data to remote areas. They usually face challenges in accessing confidential data via mobile networks. Array Networks will address such concerns related to improving network performance and enhancing the speed of communication in these areas, while ensuring the highest levels of security, the press release states.
Shibu Paul, Regional Sales Director – India, ME and SEA at Array Networks said, “Our ultimate aim is to deliver fully-integrated, mission-critical applications to the defence sector by providing full access to the applications and services they normally require. The firm will also focus on refining WAN speed to achieve faster communications. With this project, Array Networks is aiming to grow at least 25% of their revenues from this sector in the near future.
