Arrow partnered with Amstar to provide software training for IBM

Arrow Electronics and Amstar Technologies have announced their global training alliance to provide official IBM systems and software training courses in the country. Arrow is the authorised IBM global training provider and delivers global learning ecosystem that makes IBM Training available around the world based on local needs and requirements.

 

Speaking about the same, Julie Desombre Martin, global education business practice director, Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business, said, “Based on the combination of our own local capabilities and the extensive network of Arrow global training alliance members, Arrow is solidly positioned to provide comprehensive training solutions and help improve IBM products readiness in the market place. We look forward to our cooperation with Amstar to rollout our IBM Global Training program to serve the Indian market.”

 

On the other hand, Joseph Solomon, head of business development, Amstar, commented, “We are delighted that Arrow has selected Amstar as their training sales and delivery partner for India. Amstar is committed to offering a high quality, next generation portfolio of IBM Training solutions that will help individuals and corporations to better deploy and use IBM solutions and technologies.”

 

The IBM training incorporates IBM Power Systems, IBM PureSystems, IBM System z, IBM System Storage and Storage Networking. It also covers IBM System x abd BladeCenter, cloud, analytics, mobile, social and security solutions. Lastly, it also includes Business Analytics, Information Management, Collaboration, Product Lifecycle Management, Rational, Tivoli and WebSphere.
