Know About- The Golden Age of hydrogen

If net zero CO2 by 2050 is the question, what is the answer? It’s something countless organizations, people and governments have been discussing since targets were set; how do we achieve this target quickly and sustainably. For many the answer is hydrogen. With its green credentials almost undisputed at this point, and applications ranging from energy production to transport plus the ability to produce it in a green manner, hydrogen seems like a no brainer. Hydrogen comes in different forms; blue, grey, pink and green. Blue hydrogen is produced from natural gas by steam methane reforming, grey hydrogen is similar process to blue, but the CO2 is not captured. Pink hydrogen is produced through electrolysis from nuclear energy while green hydrogen is also produced through electrolysis but from renewable energy making it the most eco-friendly production method.
