AWS Re/Start Program Offers Cloud Training to Rajasthan Women

This program will be offered at no cost to the learners, and previous technology experience is not required to apply.

IPE Global and AISECT have collaborated with Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL) to help underemployed or unemployed women launch their careers in cloud computing technology in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

AWS Program CloudThe AWS re/Start program is a 12-week, in-person, skills-based training program that covers fundamental AWS Cloud skills as well as practical career skills, such as interviewing and resume writing, to help prepare individuals for an entry-level cloud position.

Speaking about the initiative, M.K. Padmakumar, COO, IPE Global said, “Cloud computing is a key 21st-century technological innovation. The accelerated pace of digital innovation due to the pandemic has led to a steadfast cloud adoption among businesses, allowing them to more effectively innovate. This program will help women to move beyond traditional roles and make them an integral part of Industry 4.0.”

The program will provide training and employment opportunities to women from economically weaker backgrounds in Rajasthan. The cohorts, which will be taught by AISECT instructors, will start in the first week of April.

This program will be offered at no cost to the learners, and previous technology experience is not required to apply.

Through scenario-based exercises, hands-on labs, and coursework, students will learn to build programming language (Linux and Python), networking, security and relational database skills etc.

Ultimately, the program will prepare participants for an entry-level cloud role in the areas such as operations, site reliability, and infrastructure support.

Through the AWS re/Start program, IPE Global is excited to help individuals develop in-demand cloud skills and prepare them for jobs.

The program also prepares and covers the cost for participants to take the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification exam, which can validate their cloud skills with an industry-recognized credential.
