Axis Buys Video Analytics Provider Citilog

Axis Communications announces that it has successfully acquired an intelligent real-time video monitoring company named Citilog. The company well known for its video analytics and surveillance products has a comprehensive portfolio for advanced traffic statistics and solutions for traffic lights and intersection control.

Both the companies have worked together for several years on both engineering and sales to provide integrated solutions to a number of mutual customers.

Through this acquisition, Axis aims to try its hands in the fast-growing traffic analytics market.
