Barracuda Networks has appointed Chris Ross as its senior sales vice president, global channels. Ross, who is having more than 23 years of technology experience, will be working with channel teams globally to force new strategies and speed up implementation of Barracuda’s recently strengthened partner program.
Announced last month on April 6, 2015, the program focuses on establishing global consistency across all levels of the partner program, expanded deal registration, increased discounts for certain products, and a new MSP program for qualifying partners.
Ross has joined Barracuda Networks from Arcserve, where he served as VP of worldwide sales. And before joining Arcserve, he held a number of VP and GM roles at Bakbone Software, Symantec and PowerQuest Corporation where he worked towards building channels, driving growth and developing sales and marketing teams.
