BenQ India aims to achieve 50 percent growth this year

BenQ India has announced that the company is working on renewing its focus on the Indian market for the year 2015. The company revealed this during the visit of Adams Lee, President, BenQ Asia Pacific Corporation to Delhi to attend its annual sales & marketing conference, Xcelerate 2015. The firm has successfully maintained its leadership position in projector segment offering widest range of products in the industry. This success can be attributed to its robust focus on R& D which is manifested in every product the brand launches in India.

Talking about the plans of the company, Adams Lee, President, BenQ Asia Pacific Corporation said, “India is one of the fastest growing markets in APAC region for BenQ and is expected to grow more than 50% in 2015.  Currently, India contributes to over 17% share among the APAC countries for BenQ. We are witnessing a huge traction in the gaming monitors’ space and home video projector market. We have always emphasized on designing our products backed with strong market & consumer insights across all regions. India is a market where consumers have high aspirations and demand products that are best in terms of technology, quality and value. It is our constant endeavour to provide most sophisticated solutions to the consumer and bring the best technology to India in 2015”

The company has witnessed immense growth of 20% year-on-year in the last 3 years primarily based on growing its projector business to a market leadership position and further consolidating it. BenQ offers largest range of projectors for education starting with SVGA to the high end Short Throw and Ultra Short throw projectors. Recently BenQ launched W+ wireless home video projectors with 3D Full HD projection and also been certified for ISFccc.

Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ India said, “BenQ has relentlessly maintained strong position in its core product line, namely Monitors and Projectors. Overall, we are looking to increase revenue of BenQ India by 50 per cent primarily driven by growth in Hi-end Monitors. BenQ will focus on Large Screen, Gaming and Vertical Application monitors in 2015. We are increasing focus on Projector business by phasing in cost competitive 3D models in main stream XGA and expanding the current range by including feature-rich models in Home Entertainment, Pro AV and Ultra Short-Throw segments. BenQ in India will continue to focus on these categories through aggressive market expansion plans coupled with promotional strategies.”
