Mahindra Comviva’s Zerch Services to now Attract Pune and Hyderabad Customers

Mahindra Comviva announces that its well market-accepted Zerch – the hyper-local deal discovery app is set to embark its existence in two new cities, Pune and Hyderabad. Commencing into the consumer space in late last year, the next-gen app is reported to inculcate 3,50,000 unique users and 6000 merchants.

Today, the mobile value-added service enabler claims to have coupled with leading brands such as PVR Cinemas, Monginis, Berco’s Restaurants, Cafe Coffee day, Nizam’s, Gola Sizzlers, Hyderabad Biryani House, Drunken Monkey Bar, Pepperjack, Gulab Sweets, Cut & Style Salon and Spa, Goli Vada Pav across categories such as food & beverages (fine dining/fast food/bakeries), spas and salons, apparel, accessories and more, to provide offers that are exclusively curated for Zerch users.

According to its official release, Srinivas Nidugondi, Senior VP and Head of Mobile Financial Solutions, Mahindra Comviva said, “After the successful launch of Zerch in Delhi-NCR and Bangalore, we are now looking forward to expand our footprints in Pune and Hyderabad markets. Backed by Mahindra Comviva’s advanced technology and industry expertise, Zerch is developed to cater to the need of finding the best deals anywhere, anytime with a superlative user experience.”

Zerch provides a personalized experience where users are notified of offers based on their current location. Further, users are alerted by the app through push notifications about offers when they enter a particular location. Although the communication of offers is at a hyper-local level currently, Zerch plans to take it to a micro-local level to ensure that users enjoy a richer and more fulfilling shopping experience at stores. The company plans to expand its operations in at least two more cities by the end of the current quarter. It is currently available to users both on Google Play and on the App Store.

“We are confident that Zerch will address all local shopping needs and will provide an elated in-store shopping experience to its users,” adds Srinivas.

Zerch is looking to add some of the best outlets from the youth-centric cities of Hyderabad and Pune, where there is a huge demand of good offers from branded outlets. The company is planning to add more than 1000 outlets in both cities in next quarter and is already in talks with some of the best brands like ESquare Cinema, Chaitanya, Karachi bakery etc. in these cities.

Zerch has a unique proposition for merchants across the spectrum (large chains to SMBs),which do not have right tools for contextual marketing – it aids in connecting offline stores with nearby online/mobile shoppers via a discovery of offers and services through promotions on online and offline channels.

Zerch has local vies with apps like Shop Bindaas, Madpiggy and Little that help enable customers to bag the latest deals across the local vicinity.
