BICSI India Wraps-Up 2015 District Conference at Bangalore


BICSI, the prime succour for ICT community concludes the Bangalore Chapter of the BICSI India District Conference & Exhibition 2015.

Over 400 delegates representing various ICT organizations participated in the day-long conference that covered topics on Data Centers, Enterprise Cabling & Testing, ICT Standards, Surveillance & Security, and Smart Cities. Focused sessions on ICT Infrastructure opportunities and best practices by industry leaders were the key highlights.

Chief Guest at the conference, Smt. V Manjula, reiterated the government’s vision of inclusive and sustainable development, synergy with industry bodies to nurture the ecosystem (with special focus on ICT and manufacturing sector), skill enhancement and creation of large employment opportunities.

Keynote speaker at the conference, Lt. General Dr. S P Kochhar (retd), highlighted the focus of TSSC in nurturing the right ICT skill set, skill enhancement and certification by establishing skilling centres and delivering programmes on design and installation to meet the demands of the ICT industry.

Commenting on the success of the event, Mr. Ketan Kothari, District Chair, BICSI India said, “The overall response from the participants, delegates and visitors was very encouraging as the bi-annual BICSI Technical Conference has now transformed itself into a premier knowledge sharing and networking platform for ICT professionals”. “BICSI conclave has been successful in bringing together a network of thought leaders, who contribute immensely to technology tracks and unique sessions, so that the industry gains in identifying and prioritizing key opportunities”, he added.

CommScope, TE Connectivity, Belden, Corning, Fluke Networks, Ideal Networks, Legrand, Schneider Electric, D-Link, Molex, Netrack Enclosures and Smartlink were key partners to fillip the symposium.
