Cambridge Technology Enterprises, an IT services leader focused on the convergence of big data and cloud has announced its contract with I.D. Systems, a leading global provider of wireless M2M solutions for securing, tracking and managing high-value enterprise assets. Under this partnership, CTE is aiming to test services for I.D. Systems, which will be conducted at CTE’s recently launched development center.
In addition, CTE will be working as an autonomous tester of I.D. Systems’ complex embedded systems before they are distributed to their customers.

I.D. Systems has been at the forefront of utilizing radio frequency identification, or technology for wireless vehicle management and fleet tracking. Receiving almost 7 million dollars through a contract with the USPS in 1995, went public in 1999. Since then, the company has continually proven itself an innovative leader, the press release notes.
