Canon plans to expand retail presence, starts Canon Image Square at Mumbai
Canon has inaugurated its 10th Canon Image Square (CIS) in Mumbai. The company is planning to boost up its retail business by launching exclusive Canon Image Square throughout the country to engage with existing as well as new customers to for better services. This new store was inaugurated by Vikesh Ramchandani, West Regional Business Head, Canon India and is located at Bandra.
Presently, the company has 114 CIS in India and it aims to open 150 such centres by the end of this year. Canon believes that the CIS will help in enhancing the company’s commitment in terms of new product launches, distribution networks, and product zones and services centres. The store consists of latest cameras, lenses and photography accessories and exciting printing options and solutions. Along with this it will also have products and accessories such as printers, camera bags, charge, tripod etc. are available under one roof.
This new CIS started by the company at Bandra will conduct free photography sessions for children on weekends to foster its relationship with customers and encourage the art of photography. Moreover, every customer who purchases a DSLR will be given one complimentary session to enable them to make maximum use of the DSLR.
