IBM has introduced its new enterprise email solution with new freemium social collaboration called the ‘IBM Verse’. The solution is based on built-in analytics and aims to provide the employees a new way to converse, find the right people and information at a faster rate. The email solution enables the users to pin-point and retrieves valuable information they are seeking across the content.
The IBM Verse uses built-in analytics which helps in delivering an ‘at-a-glance’ view which intelligently surfaces individual’s most critical actions. Speaking about the new solution, Anmol Nautiyal, Director-IBM social Business & IBM Smarter Workforce said, “The convergence of analytics, cloud, social and mobile technologies is having a profound impact on our personal lives but also in the way we work as professionals. IBM Verse incorporates ongoing feedback from a broad spectrum of business users. It comprises of features like intelligent task prioritization, intuitive collaboration across devices and engages people not emails. The solution is delivered on SoftLayer cloud with enterprise –grade security and users with scalable, cloud based social collaboration environment optimized for mobile and web environment. The app totally works on cloud and it also designed for mobile devices. In the first phase it will be introduced on iOS and Android and later on it will make way to other operating systems.
