Cognizant Technology has now acquired Odecee a digital solution provider to the enterprises of Australia and New Zealand. This is the second acquisition of the company in the digital segment. Earlier, the Cognizant has acquired Cadient Group, a digital marketing agency that serves life sciences companies. Along with this, the company also made an acquisition in September by acquiring TriZetto a healthcare IT service provider for $ 2.7 billion. However, the company has not yet revealed any details about the terms of transactions.
As reported by Reuters, Cognizant said in a press statement, “As part of the deal, around 150 specialists with digital expertise will join Cognizant. The company would also get access to intellectual property such as Velocedee, a platform that helps centralize highly secure mobile applications and enables rapid implementation of core business processes across a wide range of mobile devices.”
The Cognizant acquired Odecee was founded in 2007. The company delivers enterprise mobility, web and cloud solutions to clients in financial services, insurance, healthcare, logistics, and communications sector. Cognizant believes that this business acquisition will highlight its commitment towards the local market and the efforts of the company on strengthening its digital capabilities.
