Datawind and World Vision Canada Join Forces for Education Empowerment
Datawind has announced that it has partnered with the World Vision Canada, with an aim to supply the UbiSlate Android tablets for trial use in the development agency’s projects in the African countries.
Under the partnership, Datawind will supply the UbiSlate tablet in several African countries at $40, in a bid to increase aid effectiveness and education.
Speaking at the partnership, Datawind CEO Mr. Suneet Singh Tuli said that “Datawind is honoured to partner with World Vision Canada in providing technology which will help field workers in Africa as they strive to provide healthcare and education to families and children in need.”
He further added that “We are proud to be part of this project, as we are dedicated to creating and providing technology that will empower education and promote innovation and research globally.”
