Dell to organize Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network meet
Dell has always been in the forefront when it comes to help the new and budding startups to rise. This year also the company has done a similar thing. Dell will be organizing a Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network (DWEN) meet in Bangalore. The event will witness the participation of 15 eminent women entrepreneurs, who have exceled in their respective fields and are collaborating to establish a positive Indian women entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Speaking about the event, Ritu Gupta, Director, Marketing, Dell India said “Entrepreneurship has always been core to us at Dell. Since the beginning we have believed in listening closely to our customers and that engaging directly with our customers’ leads to better impact. Networking is a direct way of approaching our customers and understanding an organization’s issues and dilemmas. Through DWEN, we provide a ready platform for women entrepreneurs to collaborate, share ideas and best practices among themselves. We see an immense scope for growth of the Indian women entrepreneurship ecosystem and what better place to connect than the start-up mecca of India- Bangalore.”
The event will focus on a group discussion on, “Developing specific skill sets in a start-up to thrive in the entrepreneurial ecosystem”. This will enable others to discover the adeptness required to succeed in the ecosystem at present and develop deeper understanding of the interpersonal skills required to make a business successful.
