Dimension Data Partners a Multinational Technology Services Provider with Next-Gen Cybersecurity Solutions

Dimension Data

Dimension Data announced its long-standing partnership with Indian multinational IT Services provider [name undisclosed]. According to its latest statement, Dimension Data said that it has been engaged with the organization for over a decade and has been executing strategic projects around its IT landscape and cybersecurity.

This alliance will further see Dimension Data implement next-generation cybersecurity solutions comprising integrated intrusion management systems that can detect attacks based on traffic behavioral analysis, threat signatures or anomalous activity.

Dimension Data deployed gateway control across the company’s nine locations in India, to effectively manage traffic flow and screen threats deeper and faster because the firm’s current IT architecture was scaling up in terms of traffic and resources and it was looking at adopting transformative solutions for its infrastructure. Its security architecture also needed to be revamped to keep up with its technology transformation, as the existing security posture was unable to cater to the dynamic cybersecurity landscape.

Additionally, a centralized policy management system was implemented to streamline the organization’s deployment, troubleshooting, and management processes. The new system helps define standards that emphasizes the values of the company and prevent compromises of important company data. Thus, ensuring better policy management for the firm as well as meeting its granular SLA with their clients. The solutions combine application awareness and deep packet inspection to give more control over applications while detecting and blocking malicious threats. Apart from establishing a frontline defense, the enterprise is also investing in threat intelligence and expanding its cyber response capabilities.

“The ever-growing cybersecurity landscape deals with constant new vulnerabilities. Our teams conducted architecture level workshops with the client and proposed vendor-neutral solutions that would help them meet their business objectives. These discussions strengthen our services narrative and convinced the client that they can now focus on their core business as their cybersecurity services are provided by trained specialists in next-generation cybersecurity solutions,” said Murtaza Bhatia, National Business Manager Cyber Security, Dimension Data India.
