eBay partners with MobiKwik for the festive season

MobiKwikMobiKwik has entered into an exclusive partnership with eBay India for the upcoming festive season. As part of the partnership MobiKwik and eBay India will be offering an exclusive 15% discount to users choosing to make payments on the eBay India with their MobiKwik wallet. The discounts will be available both on the website and on the mobile app.

Speaking about the partnership, Santosh Rao, Head Mobile Commerce, eBay India, said, “eBay.in has always been a pioneer in providing a mobile commerce experience for its consumers. MobiKwik with its mobile wallet helps provide a frictionless payment experience thereby enhancing the shopping experience.”

On the other hand, on being associated with eBay, Upasana Taku, Co-Founder, MobiKwik said, “The main vision behind our mobile wallet service is to enhance the online shopping experience for users. The exclusive discount is a way to carry forward our core proposition and add value for our existing and prospective customers further this festive season. We are happy to bring the brand synergies of eBay India and MobiKwik together to set new benchmarks in the space of mobile commerce.”

The MobiKwik wallet will provide an enriching consumer experience to the people who come to shop from eBay. The users can make payment with a single click and the complete payment process is backed by stringent security techniques. This new festive offer is the extension of the association of the both the companies since May 2014. Currently, MobiKwik processed around 1,500 eBay India orders in a single day with a gross merchandise value (GMV) of around Rs 20 lakhs.
