MacDermid Alpha’s Electrolube to Present at IPC APEX EXPO
Electrolube’s drive towards achieving a more sustainable future also encourages customers to embrace implementing sustainable materials into production.
MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions has reported that Electrolube will be participating in two technical conference sessions at this year’s IPC APEX EXPO, held at the San Diego Convention Centre, CA, from 25-27 January.

Two of Electrolube’s senior representatives. Phil Kinner, Global Business and Technical Director for Electrolube’s Coatings Division will present the paper ‘Conformal Coatings: State of the Industry Versus State of the Art’ on Tuesday, January 25th from 10 am-12 pm at S04, EM1.
Phil is well-known for his expertise in coating chemistry and will be sharing some of Electrolube’s latest data taken from a study comparing the condensation resistance performance of assemblies coated with state-of-the-art materials to those used in the state of the industry materials.
During the show, Electrolube, part of MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, will demonstrate its advanced technical capabilities to the US market by launching a ground-breaking new bio coating, the first of its kind globally.
Electrolube’s drive towards achieving a more sustainable future also encourages customers to embrace implementing sustainable materials into production.
Beth Turner, Electrolube’s Senior Technical Manager, will present the paper entitled ‘Bio-Based Encapsulation Resins: Good for The Environment, Good for Your Environment’ from 8-9.30am on Thursday, January 27th at S28, EM4.
Environmental credibility runs throughout the company from the product packaging right through to product development and Beth will be talking about how Electrolube’s new range of bio-resins can not only impact a company’s environmental credentials but also on the lifetime and performance of devices.
Electrolube’s new UVCLX bio coating is an unrivaled eco-friendly innovation that will transform the conventional use of coatings by the global electronics community. The first-to-market UV Cure Coating Xtra is formulated with 75% bio-organic content from renewable sources and is one of Electrolube’s most versatile, high-performance coatings yet for protecting electronic circuitry against the harshest of environments.
Electrolube will also showcase the new GF600 two-part, liquid silicone thermal gap filler, supplied in a 32oz duo cartridge. GF600 provides excellent thermal performance and can be cured at room temperature or accelerated with heat. After curing, GF600 forms a low modulus elastomer, preventing the ‘pump-out phenomenon’.
Visitors to IPC APEX EXPO are invited to meet members of the Electrolube and MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions teams at booth 2121.
It is an ideal opportunity to find out more about how Electrolube’s newest solutions can help manufacturers speed up production, increase reliability and lifetime of products, as well as improve their environmental credentials.
