Eric Allison, Head of Aviation Programs, Uber and Nikhil Goel, Head of Product, Aviation, Uber received a private meeting with the Honb’le Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi yesterday.
The meet was called in the sidelines of India’s first Global Mobility Summit.
Eric apprised the Hon’ble Prime Minister of the potential of Uber Elevate, showcasing the exciting future Uber Air can bring to the region and to the world.
During the integral meet, Eric also discussed how a multi-modal mobility platform can contribute to the economy while helping cities reduce congestion and pollution.
He also attended the Move Summit and stressed on the importance of a strong foundation for the next generation of innovations including eVTOLs, carpooling and autonomous vehicles.

Talking about Uber Elevate and India being one of five shortlisted countries that could be home to the first international Uber Air City within the next five years at the summit.
Eric Allison reiterated Uber’s commitment to India and leveraging technology to make experiences for both riders and drivers as seamless as possible.
