Elemental Technologies trumpets integration with Adobe Primetime
Elemental Technologies, the software-defined video solutions suppliers for multiscreen content delivery, today announced the integration of its video processing platform with Adobe Primetime, meant for programmers and pay TV operators.
“Together, we help broadcasters and pay TV providers overcome device fragmentation, roll out multiscreen services more quickly and advance monetization business models as a trusted partner of Adobe.”
Global broadcasters and distributors are increasingly turning to Elemental with Adobe Primetime to be able to streamline distribution of high-quality, protected content to IP-connected screens. Elemental video processing components support delivery of live, linear and video-on-demand (VOD) content for Adobe Primetime-supported TV Everywhere deployments.
The joint solution affords support for ad insertion, ad decisioning and regional blackouts, and multiple streaming formats including RTMP, HDS, HLS and MPEG-DASH. Braced with its software-defined video approach, Elemental supports Primetime DRM, Primetime pay-TV Pass, pHDS and pHLS, in addition to adherence to TV Everywhere retransmission agreements, to ensure content is delivered securely across any network, to any screen.
“Just as it brought video to the Web and helped establish the TV Everywhere authentication standard, Adobe is now enabling true multiscreen monetization,” alleged Sam Blackman, CEO and co-founder at Elemental. Supplementing that – “Together, we help broadcasters and pay TV providers overcome device fragmentation, roll out multiscreen services more quickly and advance monetization business models as a trusted partner of Adobe.”
“We help strengthen content owners’ brands and create more value for pay TV operators with Primetime,” held Jeremy Helfand, vice president, Adobe Primetime. Furthering that – “Elemental is recognized as the best-in-class video encoder and by closely working together and integrating our technology platforms; we are able to offer online video distribution and monetization in a unified and secure workflow for any connected device. We look forward to jointly demonstrating our solution at NAB.”
