Epicor Inaugurates its New Technology Center in India
Epicor Software Corporation inaugurates a new state-of-the-art Technology Center in Bengaluru. The India Technology Center has been setup to boast performance and growth on a global spectrum; the new structure is also aimed to support product development, support and services.
The opening was held on August 5 amidst of Epicor executives Mark Mincin, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, and Jeff Kissling, Chief Technology Officer. The extol opening also had local representatives Suresh Prabhu, Managing Director, and Neela Kishore, HR director, for Epicor India.
The India Technology Center will be run under the direction of Mincin, with Prabhu running the day-to-day operations as managing director. The 48,000 square-foot Center is located in the newly established RMZ EcoWorld Technology Park and today houses 50 staff. Epicor is currently recruiting for further positions in product engineering, quality assurance, consulting, customer support and IT and will double its staff strength by the end of this year.

The new Technology Center will help Epicor continue to deliver product innovation so that customers can quickly take advantage of new technologies in order to become more competitive. This builds on its vision to eliminate complexity and make ERP easier to use, more collaborative and more responsive, across multiple devices and deployment choices – on premise or in the Cloud. Additionally, it will strengthen the company’s support to customers and partners, both globally and locally.
