Ericsson titled as the M2M Technology Company of the year at CES 2015

Ericsson has announced that it has been the winner across four categories at the Compass Intelligence Awards being held at CES 2015. Talking about the achievement, Per Borgklint, Senior Vice President and Head of Business Unit Support Solutions, Ericsson, said, “What a great achievement for Ericsson to be recognized for so many of its solutions and innovations by Compass Intelligence. Each of these solutions plays a vital role in the evolution of the Networked Society and holds value to stakeholders in all industry verticals across the globe. We will continue to build upon these solutions to enable operators to bring more mobile services to its customers with ease and efficiency with the latest technology innovations.”

The company has been recognized as the M2M technology company of the year. The firm received this title because of the innovations they made including the Ericsson M2M Service Enablement, which is a robust and proven foundation that includes everything needed to create and evolve industry specific solutions that rely on M2M technologies. Along with this, the Ericsson Connected Vehicle Cloud has been acknowledged as the Connected Car Platform of the year.

The other solutions for which Ericsson is awarded includes the Service Innovation Framework, which provides an open platform for collaborative development and delivery of a wide range of digital and M2M services. And the Wallet Platform solution, which is a robust and secured solution that enables mobile financial service providers with next generation M-Commerce capabilities.
