Ericsson’s ‘Blue River Project’ Embarks Inclusion of Gender Diversity

Bringing equal gender distinction in the society and above at the workplaces, Ericsson India center-staged it ‘Blue River Project’ celebrations, a perennial Program to mark awareness on the diversity and inclusion at the workplace. The program flagged off under the theme ‘All about perspectives’ witnessed leading luminaries from the world of cinema and the Corporate world share their thoughts on Diversity at the workplace, the role of cinema in influencing minds and the part individuals, corporates and society can play in making the workplace more inclusive.
The conjecture of Ericsson resembles that gender diversity can bring a great value to an organization and its business strategy. As a long-term goal, Ericsson aims to have one third of its employees as women by 2020. Taking a step towards this goal, Ericsson is breaking the norm by hiring more female candidates in fields dominated by men.
The male dominated Ericsson’s Operations Team has recently hired 50 women, reported the release.
