Fujitsu and Microsoft Collaborate to Transform Manufacturing Processes through IoT Innovation
At the Hannover Messe event, Fujitsu and Microsoft have announced their collaboration to transform manufacturing processes through IoT innovation. They’ll together bring innovative operational excellence of FUJITSU Cloud A5 for Microsoft Azure, and the Fujitsu IoT machine-to-machine platform.
Both the companies need a system that optimises processing by both machines and humans, so that managers, engineers and scientists can advance product quality, streamline systems and boost functionality while decreasing costs. This solution is based on the work Fujitsu performed in Aizu-Wakamatsu, Japan.
“Leveraging the Fujitsu Eco-Management Dashboard solution alongside Microsoft Azure and the Fujitsu IoT/M2M platform, we are able to deliver real-time visualization of the engineering process for big data analytics to improve the entire production process and inform decision-making,” said Hiroyuki Sakai, corporate executive officer, executive VP, head of Global Marketing at Fujitsu Limited.
Together, they are developing solutions that will assist manufacturing clients be more profitable and deliver higher-quality products.
