Fujitsu’s New Security-front Workstations mutates Desktop Life to Mobility Age
Fujitsu announces the commencement of a new 15.6-inch (36.9cm) mobile power station dubbed FUJITSU CELSIUS H760 Mobile Workstation. Arched with maximum security standards and connected-driven performance, the new device is touted to be tailored for designers, architects and engineers.
The new workstation is reported equally powerful on the road and in the office – no matter whether this is for video, 3D CAD or visualization.
Uncompromised on security front, the new mobile workstation integrates an array of security features, such as the integrated SmartCard reader, TPM 2.0 for data encryption and management as well as the option of built-in Fujitsu PalmSecure biometric access.
Commenting on the new rollout, Ulrike Rueger, Head of Category Management for Client Computing Devices and Internet of Things at Fujitsu EMEIA, said, “Until now, users had to compromise when working with mobile workstations, as it has always been challenging to match desktop workstation class performance in a mobile device. Now, Fujitsu has managed to fit all the technology and maximum security into a 15.6-inch mobile workstation,. The CELSIUS H760 starts a new era in Fujitsu’s almost 20-year history in developing mobile workstations. From today, you can enjoy unlimited mobility with a workstation that computes without compromise.”
Key Nuggets include
- Discarding variable adapters for docking etc., the CELSIUS H760 includes the latest USB Type-C connector offering more speed, more protocols and charging capabilities, a VGA port to connect to projectors, and a full size DisplayPortfor use for external monitors.
- The docking station brings ease in the office because of integrating the same standard Fujitsu port replicator that works with LIFEBOOK notebooks and STYLISTIC 2-in-1 devices.
Serge Palaric, VP Sales Embedded & OEMs EMEA at NVIDIA said, “The Quadro M2000M graphics platform, based on NVIDIA’s innovative Maxwell architecture, delivers best performance for a 15-inch mobile device. As Fujitsu has built this in to the new FUJITSU CELSIUS H760, engineers and designers can expect desktop-level performance and the stability and compatibility to meet the requirements of the most demanding professional users.”
