Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has launched a new tool to enable the businesses to have better visual communications. The company has introduced 8088 Smart DeskPhone to allow the employees to be more productive at their workplace. The new 8088 Smart DeskPhone incorporates advanced features for spontaneous and comfortable access to wideband audio and HD video conversations.

The Alcatel-Lucent 8088 Smart DeskPhone consists of  a 7-inch touch screen TFT-LCD with WVGA (16:9) format, built-in 5 Mpx HD autofocus camera, ambient light sensor, Bluetooth 2.1 handset as standard delivery, Bluetooth 2.1 support for headset, HDMI 1.4 for external HD display unit.
