Harting Fosters MICAFamily
HARTING MICA product family adds new models that were developed based on practical application and suggestions from the customer base.
HARTING MICA product familyat the Hannover Messe 2017 not just celebrated its first birthday but it also received a substantial increase with new models that were developed based on practical application and suggestions from the customer base.
With a dual-core processor, 4GB RAM, and 16GB eMMC, the MICA 2 offers 3-5 times the computing power of MICA Basic.
The MICA Wireless combines the processing power of the MICA 2 with integrated interfaces for wireless communication including GSM, WLAN, Bluetooth and GPS without occupying the function board. This creates a highly flexible solution for data acquisition and communication without the need to perform cabling.
With the MICA Energy data from electricity meters and current transformers can be read, compressed and forwarded to MES and ERP systems. Due to the integration of the open source time series database InfluxDB and the dashboard software Grafana, evaluations and visualization can also be done directly on the MICA.
The MICA terminal variant offers a robust solution for kiosks, touch panels or the retrofitting of HCI to machines with USB and video connections. The integrated software allows the creation of browser-based solutions as well as the development of solutions with qt (Software Library).
For OEMs and customers who want to create their own solutions, HARTING now also offers MICA Kits that can be equipped and mounted with their own function boards.
