HCL Infosystems MD & CEO resigns

HCL Infosystems, the IT Company, has revealed that it’s managing director and CEO Harshavardhan Madhav Chitale has resigned from his post and the company. He will be associated with the firm till this month. After his resignation, the director and executive vice-chairman of HCL Infosystems Premkumar Seshadri will take charge as MD, of the company.

As per the PTI report, Harshavardhan Madhav Chitale resigned as the MD and CEO and also as the director of the company with effect from the close of business hours on 31 December, 2014. His resignation has been approved by the Board at its meeting held on December 8, 2014.

Premkumar Seshadri, the director and executive vice-chairman, has been appointed as the new managing director of the company. He will take charge of the office from January 1, 2015. The company said his designation would be ‘executive vice-chairman and managing director.
