HCL launches HCL TalentCare, to provide career opportunities in IT, BFSI and Healthcare sectors

HCL Corporation has announced its entry into skill and talent development space with the launch of HCL TalentCare. HCL TalentCare is aiming to create a ready talent pool of professionals for top notch enterprises in IT, BFSI and Healthcare sectors. The company has also partnered with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to design and deliver skilling solutions.

Programs under HCL TalentCare will enroll, train and provide career opportunities to more than 20,000 graduates over the next three years across its campuses in Manesar, Hyderabad and Chennai.

HCL launches HCL TalentCare,Addressing the conference, Shiv Nadar, Founder and Chairman, HCL, said, “Today, more than half of India’s population is under the age of 25, with 65 percent of the population under 35. About 12 million individuals are expected to join the workforce every year. While India’s young population is its greatest asset, many young Indians are not equipped with the skills required for effective employment. I believe that this is the right moment to step in to address this skill gap challenge facing the nation today. This will help us realise our demographic dividend and create Talent Made in India.”

The training programs will strengthen students core skills, business understanding and communication skills. And after the completion of the programs, the graduates will become world-class professionals, who will get an opportunity to work with top global companies.

Courses will be delivered using a mix of classroom-based instructor-led training along with on job practice of concepts taught in the course.
