Hewlett-Packard India ropes in Deepika Padukone as brand ambassador

Hewlett-Packard India (HP India) declared Deepika Padukone as its brand ambassador while débuting the HP Slate6 VoiceTab and HP Slate7 VoiceTab, plus four new mobile devices.

HP Slate6 VoiceTab is priced at Rs 23,688 and HP Slate7 VoiceTab is priced at Rs 17,287.The HP Slate VoiceTab series are slim and light tablets with voice calling capability, power-driven by a quad-core processor running on Android Jellybean 4.2.2 operating system and affords 3G connectivity with dual SIM convenience.

HP Slate6 VoiceTab (15.2 cms) diagonal and HP Slate7 VoiceTab (17.8 cms) diagonal comes with power-packed entertainment features such as dual front firing stereo speakers, front and rear HD (3) cameras. The VoiceTabs have 16GB built in storage expandable to 32GB via MicroSD card.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Srivastava, vice president and general manager, Printing and Personal Systems, HP India rhetoricised that, “These devices deliver performance people can trust… more than a tablet and smarter than a phone.”

Speaking on the association with HP, Deepika Padukone said that, “I have been using the new HP Slate6 VoiceTab for some time now and think it’s a must-have for anyone who wants performance and style.”
