HP inks a deal with Microsoft to provide an enterprise solution
HP enterprises has entered into a strategic agreement with Microsoft to incorporate office 365 and HP services in order to provide one complete enterprise solution. As per the contract, HP Enterprise Services for Office 365 will merge the capabilities and benefits of the industry’s leading business productivity solution with the delivery expertise and hosting experience of HP Enterprise Services.
This solution will generate enterprise class support for Office 365 and both the firms will integrate support staff to support and lower total cost of ownership.
Speaking about the agreement, Marshal Correia, vice president & general manager, Enterprise Services, HP India, said, “HP enterprise clients are seeking to create a collaborative and flexible workplace using comprehensive solutions that address their complex IT environments. Teaming up with Microsoft allows HP to offer our industry leading enterprise services on top of Microsoft’s widely adopted Office 365 suite running on HP servers in HP datacentres around the world.”
On the other hand, the Microsoft executive said, “Microsoft is committed to helping companies transform and grow their productivity within the cloud. As one of the largest providers of business productivity solutions, HP Enterprise Services is integrating Office 365 in a way that will greatly benefit our mutual customers.”
The HP Enterprise Services for Office 365 will enable the public sector clients to have more choices about the location of customer applications and data while boosting Office 365 performance. Along with this, HP and Microsoft will also work together to address the issues for clients and to communicate via HP’s case exchange to client systems.
