HP has launched HP Helion Managed Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Lean. This is a managed infrastructure-as-a-service solution which gives high-quality service delivery and workload performance at a very low cost. This also supports lighter workloads for mid-sized and enterprise-level businesses, which includes application development and test environments and workplace collaboration solutions. Moreover, it also allows quick onboarding times and capability features.

HP Helion Managed Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Lean will enable organisations to gain benefits on the pretext of managed VPC. These services include regionalized cloud for data sovereignty, low latency, compliance, high availability, security and a variety of continuity options, for a lower upfront investment. Along with this it will also offer HP Account Support along with better OS and application certification for the cloud. The company will also be providing additional enterprise service like HP Management Services, SAP HANA Management Service and Database-as-a-Service. The company is providing the services in its secure, managed cloud computing environment, which is built on running business applications with high rate of availability.

Marshal Correia, vice president and general manager, Enterprise Services, HP India, states, “HP already offers a feature-rich industry-leading managed virtual private cloud offering for enterprise customers. The new HP Helion Managed VPC Lean now delivers a lower-priced alternative designed to enable clients to further optimize cloud workloads in the enterprise -while still providing superior, enterprise-class service and performance.”

Presently, the company is organizing a trial for the customers who want an application to run in the cloud along with the support from HP.
