HP launches new servers with faster processing power
Technology is advancing day by day, and so are the computing needs of the enterprises. In order to address the demands of the business firms, HP has introduced a server powered by double data processing power with the similar size of units present in the market.
Speaking at the event, Vikram K Director for Servers, HP India said, “With the growing popularity of cloud computing, virtualization and big data analysis is boosting the server market in India. HP Integrity Superdome X server can house 16 CPUs (computer units) compared to any other server of the same size. Space is what matters when it comes to data center facility.”
The technology company launched NonStop Xand Converged System (CS) 700 servers. The solution will be available across the country from the first quarter of 2015. The company aims to integrate computing, storage and networking services on a single server with the CS 700. The main idea of introducing the server is to free the organisations from the hassle of having standalone server for a particular service. Along with this, a new offering from HP will also reduce the cost of software licence by 50 percent as compared to the other servers present in the market.
