HTC appoints Faisal Siddiqui as Regional President for South Asia region

HTC Corporation, the Korean smartphone manufacturer has announced the promotion of Faisal Siddiqui as the Regional President for the South Asia region. He is currently associated with the company as the VP and Head of India for HTC. The South Asia region incorporates India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and emerging markets in Asia.

Faisal has more than 18 years of industry experience, he has provided strong leadership for HTC in India since 2011, growing market share and establishing HTC as a compelling brand in that important market. After this promotion, he will be looking after strengthening the position of the company as one of the market leaders in the region.

Presently, Jack Yang is the President for the South Asia region, he be leaving HTC for personal reasons and will move into an advisory role during this transition of the South Asia business.
