Indus OS launches new Speech-to-text keyboard for Indian languages
With the latest version, users can also convert their selfies and photos into stickers and GIFs
Indus OS launched its new Indus Keyboard laden with India-centric features.
The latest version will introduce speech-to-text in Indian languages, which will allow the users to speak into the phone in their preferred language while the text will automatically be recognized and displayed by just the press of a button.
This will enable the users to enjoy the voice based smartphone operations, it will also enable the smartphones to work faster and user friendly.
This is the first time that speech-to-text functionality in regional languages has been made available at the OS level. This feature is integrated in the Indus OS’ default keyboard and does not require any additional apps or downloads.
Additionally, the new version of Indus OS Keyboard will support 23 Indian languages in addition to English, from earlier 12 regional languages.
The Indus Keyboard is now available in Assamese, Bengali, Gujrati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu, Nepali, Bodo, Dogri, Sanskrit, Konkani, Maithili, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Manipuri, Kashmiri Arabic, Santili and English. The new keyboard update will be released to existing Indus OS users and will be available on all new and future Indus OS devices across Indus OS partners such as Micromax, Intex, Celkon, Swipe, Karbonn and Trio.
With the latest version of the Indus OS Keyboard, users can also convert their selfies and photos into stickers and GIFs, thus allowing them to express themselves better.
These features will add to Indus OS’ existing patented matra predication, auto-correction, text-to-speech, Hinglish keyboard functionality and Indus Swipe (for translation and transliteration).
