Infosys gifts iPhone 6 to 3,000 top employees

As reported earlier Infosys has achieved higher profits compared to their estimated targets. Realizing the efforts of the employees CEO of the company Vishal Sikka has decided to reward the top performers of the company. He has gifted 3,000 iPhone 6s to the top performers and as part of the effort to stem high attrition rate.

Along with the gift, he has also sent a mail to the employees and addressed them as friends. As per a report by Times of India, the mail reads, “Thinking back on 2014 feels good, doesn’t it? There was so much you wanted to accomplish with seemingly so little time to do it all. Now, as you stand on the brink of the New Year and look back, there is the satisfying realization that a great part of it actually got done. This feeling is not unlike the one Kahlil Gibran evokes in his lyrical commentary on work ‘When you work, you are a flute through whose heart the whispering of the hours turns to music.”

He has also mentioned that the company has achieved this growth due to the energy and extraordinary efforts of the employees. The company has made the profit in the quarter ended December 31 rose to 32.50 billion Indian rupees ($520.9 million) from 28.75 billion rupees ac compared to the last quarter of 2013.
