Dell, the technology solutions source announced its successful customer win of Vcare India Call Centre. Dell’s solutions will make available an agile infrastructure to facilitate growth and scalability for Vcare.
Vcare India Call Centre from its barrio had a huge server sprawl with various life cycle stages and desktop converted servers which were not reliable. This was one of the key drivers for Vcare to implement Dell’s scalable and reliable solutions to be able to maximise business responsiveness and eliminate system downtime. Vcare was also looking for more agile infrastructure that could scale based on their growing business needs, prompting the company to opt for Dell’s end-to-end solutions that would allow them to design and run their workloads on virtual infrastructure.
Dell’s right solution approach coupled with customer support and workshops assisted Vcare understand the benefits of Dell solutions – Dell Equal logic PS6510X x 2, PowerEdge M620 along with Force 10 MXL X2, Power Connect 8132F x 2 supplemented with VMware virtualisation for their complete virtual infrastructure. Furthermore, Dell also helped Vcare team to enhance their customer experience and to upscale their network to 10G with Dell MXL & Power Connect offerings. Vcare had a heterogeneous environment and were not able to meet the SLA’s as they were managing their backups using Scripts and Open Source. Due to the excess amount of manual work required, they were out the productivity. Dell helped them to reduce their backup window using Dell DR4100 and NVBU and more importantly showed Dell’s capability around MySQL expertise.
