Jonathan Rich Appointed Chief Executive Officer of Lumileds
Lumileds on boards Jonathan Rich as chief executive officer. Rich’s most recent post was as the director and CEO of Berry Global, a Fortune 500 consumer and materials company from 2010 to 2018. Rich replaces Mark Adams, who will step down as CEO and the board, but will continue in a consulting role in the company.

Before and as a director and CEO of Berry Global, Rich was president and CEO of Momentive, a specialty chemical company based in Albany, New York. Prior to that, he held positions at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, first as chairman of Global Chemicals and then as president of Goodyear’s North American Tire Division. Rich spent his early years at General Electric, first as a research scientist at GE Global Research and then in various positions at GE Plastics. He has a bachelors degree in chemistry from Iowa State University and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has also been a visiting speaker at the Cornell University Johnson School of Business since 2017.
