Kaspersky Lab corporate products for Microsoft Windows XP OS upkeep

India: Kaspersky Lab informs that Microsoft Corporation will end support for the Windows XP SP3 operating system in April 2014, Kaspersky Lab‘s corporate protection solution, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows and consumer protection solutions Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 will continue to support the Microsoft Windows XP operating system in accordance with Kaspersky Lab product lifecycles.

According to Kaspersky Lab’s scheduled product lifecycles, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows will continue to support the Windows XP operating system (Please read as- Service Pack 3 only) until the second quarter of 2016.

Window usage worldwideKaspersky Lab also strategises to maintain support for the operating system in at least two future generations of Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Internet Security products.

Kaspersky Lab invests substantial resources to ensure that its products work properly on different types and versions of operating systems. Granting the fact that the Windows XP operating system was released more than 10 years ago and so far three newfangled operating systems have been released subsequently, Kaspersky Lab realises that numerous PC users still prefer this system. This is why Kaspersky Lab has no plans to end support of Windows XP in the near future.
