KDDI Adopts Anritsu 5G NR Protocol Test Solution
Anritsu Corporation’s 5G NR protocol test solution has been adopted by KDDI Corporation as the instrument of choice for 5G NR device acceptance inspection tests.
Anritsu and KDDI have a long-term partnership in 3G/4G device acceptance inspection testing, leading to the adoption of the Radio Communication Test Station MT8000A for new 5G NR acceptance tests and helping KDDI transition smoothly to 5G service rollout.
Moreover, the MT8000A is part of the 5G NR Mobile Device Test Platform ME7834NR usages and upgrades will be supported in future.
The MT8000A is a test platform designed for the latest technologies required by 5G systems, such as wideband signal processing, beamforming, etc. It simulates base-station operations for testing the functions and performance of 5G terminals and chipsets in development, and one MT8000A units supports both the sub-6 GHz and mmWave bands used by 5G.
