Learning meets doing courtesy; Dell’s ‘Back to College’ Campaign

Dell India, India’s leading end-to-end technology solutions provider has announced the launch of its ‘Back to College’ campaign- an initiative to resourcefully enable college-going students to reach their forte both inside and outside the classroom.

Through this campaign, Dell aims to empower students to impeccably coalesce their online and offline lives. The campaign from its part will commence from the 14th of June till the 3rd of August spread across social media platforms as for instance Facebook and Twitter.

At the core of the ‘Back to College’ campaign remains the belief that even though the act of learning might be a passive activity, if pooled with the fact of putting that knowledge into action, it makes available for youth with that of a platform to be able to express and showcase their skills in an efficacious mode.

Dell from its part aims to be at the coming together of learning and doing, by way of providing information on a number of youth oriented concepts besides showing students as to exactly how to put the same into practice.

Dell in order to make stronger the outreach of the program, will be connecting with the youth through its dynamically thrust social media program dubbed “Learning meets doing – Hub” on its Facebook page and via its Twitter handle. This will be concentrated on empowering students by means of contemporary skills founded on the latest trends that are influencing the youth like taking of photographic selfies, followed by filmmaking and music.

Stating on the launch of the campaign, Mr. P. Krishnakumar, Executive Director and General Manager, Consumer & Small Business, Dell India held that, “In April 2014, Dell had launched its Back to School campaign with an aim to provide the technology support to school students to enable them to achieve more in studies and beyond. Back to College campaign is an extension of our focus on the student community, to establish a platform for them to acquire present-day skills and put them into application – to help them excel in the classroom and beyond.”

As part of this campaign, from 14th June to 3rd August 2014, students will get a ‘Back to College Kit’ with exciting goodies worth up to Rs. 7498/- free with their new Dell Inspiron laptop.

The ‘Back to College’ kit takes account of a Levi’s Shopping voucher worth Rs. 1500/-, followed by Sennheiser earphones that are worth Rs 999/- & 2 years additional warranty (including Next Business Day Onsite & 24/7 Phone Support) worth Rs. 4999/-.

Ritu Gupta, Director – Marketing, Consumer & Small Business, Dell India supplemented that, “Today, Dell has evolved as a brand which understands the pulse of the youth and the importance of social media. The campaign, which will have a high frequency, 360 degree roadmap of print, radio, online, television and social media communication, is devised to address the needs of today’s youth who want to be connected anytime, anywhere with their peer groups.”
