Lifesize enhances cloud video calling experience with two new video endpoints
Lifesize a division of the Swiss based company Logitech launched its video conferencing service for Indian enterprises last year named as Lifesize Cloud. Now the company has introduced Lifesize Icon 400 and Lifesize Icon Flex to make video communication easier and reliable.
The Lifesize Icon 400 video endpoint is purpose-built to use with Lifesize Cloud, designed especially for the huddle room. The Icon 400 allows users to quickly add video and audio participants to the call and share content with meeting participants. It also supports ad hoc calls from the presence-enabled directory, or scheduled / “meet me” meetings in virtual meeting rooms, with single and group calling with up to 25 participants. It also incorporates secure firewall/NAT traversal, along with automatic software updates.
On the other hand, the Lifesize Icon Flex is designed for businesses that already deploy a personal collaboration application such as Microsoft Lync. Icon Flex can be configured with a beam-forming table top microphone or the Lifesize Phone.
