Boris Golubovic, Vice President, Marketing & Strategy at Littelfuse, explained, “Littelfuse has had a rich history of partnering with the automotive industry to provide solutions for complex electrical protection, power control and distribution, and sensing challenges. With the advent of e-mobility, a new safety dimension needs to be considered. System design practices from other industries, ranging from consumer electronics to power control systems, are critical to assure the reliable and safe deployment of e‑mobility. These include protection against electrical faults and battery system safety solutions for vehicles ranging from e-bicycles to commercial electric vehicles.”
Visitors will be able to see a wide range of products for the automotive industry, including TVS diodes and diode arrays, MLVs, MOVs, and PPTCs to protect motor control applications, and charging and battery protection for automotive electronics.
Demonstrations will include a power stack assembly, a silicon carbide device-based solar inverter, and a brushless DC motor controller that incorporate Littelfuse and IXYS products.
Littelfuse will also display sensor products and high-speed fuses for industrial applications and circuit protection solutions for LED lighting and smart meters. The theme for the booth, “Speed, Flexibility, Power,” reinforces the strengths that the combination of Littelfuse and IXYS products provides.
In addition to the company’s booth presence, Boris Golubovic, Vice President, Marketing & Strategy at Littelfuse, will address the e-Automotive Conference at 11:20 am on September 27, 2018, in the Cassia Hall/Gulmohar Hall, Conference Center. He will be speaking on the topic, “E-mobility: Safer and More Efficient Mobility by Leveraging System Know-How.”
