Mahindra Comviva has entered into a partnership with Ethio Telecom for its PreTUPS electronic recharge solution. As part of this association, Mahindra Comviva will allow the transition of 29.4 million to the telcos customers from the traditional voucher-based recharge system to next generation electronic top-ups. This transaction is part of the operator’s strategic plan to expand its infrastructure’s capacity to accommodate 59 million customers by 2015.

The PreTUPS solution from Mahindra Comviva is a standard-based next generation prepaid solution will enhance customer convenience, by extending assisted electronic recharge services. The solution will also benefit Ethio Telecom by enabling them to manage a wide distribution network.
